Nestled amongst giant gumtrees and off the main highway, the Merredin Motel & Gumtree Restaurant offers guests a quaint, rustic country experience. Jodie, Nola & Shelley are keen to retain these characteristics, whilst renovating to modernise and upgrade the facility.
The property includes a brand new modern restaurant providing evening meals 7 days a week, lunches Monday to Friday (February to December) and continental breakfast on request. Packed lunches can also be provided for workers.
All rooms have new beds, new digital 42" televisions with 10 Foxtel channels, new bedside cabinets and lamps, new bar fridges, microwaves, kettles and toasters. There is crisp white linen and bath towels for a fresher look.
Each room has a reverse cycle air-conditioner and the owners hope to continue to do upgrades to the bathrooms in the year ahead.
