The Port Macquarie-Hastings Council Art collection has two focus areas; abstraction and landscape.
Recent acquisitions include artworks from artists who have made a major contribution to the cultural history of the region and artists with a significant national profile. The Council collection comprises of over 240 works which have been featured regularly within the gallery?s exhibition programs. Development of the Council collection has been a key area of focus for the gallery over the past three years.
