In 2017, the best players and teams from around the globe will descend on Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea for the Rugby League World Cup.
The tournament will see 14 teams play 28 games over five weeks from 27 October until 2 December 2017 ? all hoping to be crowned world cup winners, in what is the pinnacle event in international Rugby League.
Barlow Park in Cairns will host three pool matches in what is set to be the biggest sporting event in Australia during 2017. Starting on 29 October with a Sunday double header, the action will continue in a round 3 pool match on Saturday, 11 November.
