We had the most wonderful time here in the off season. The facilities are good, clean showers and toilets, a cafe/bar very close by, a great big camp kitchen, plus barbeques, a pool with waterslide, the jumping pillow, an aviary (yes really!), and a small course of mini golf to play with the kids. There are permanent residents here and although they keep to themselves they don't seem unfriendly or bothered by the tourists. The beautiful One Mile Beach is just over the hill - careful making your way down the sand dunes! Keep in mind the surf gets quite rough and there weren't any surf lifesavers around. In the off season though, it's perfect - quiet, cool, you just want to go for long lovely walks and dip your feet in the chilly sea anyway. Such a peaceful place to be and I'm sure we will return.
